A Lufia II medley appeared at "RE_PRAY", which is Yuzuru Hanyu's new ice show.
The show was held on 4th and 5th november at Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
The medley was created by Music ENGINE (who have performed Lufia II concerts in Japan) and consisted of "The Prophet ➡ For the Savior ➡ Battle #1 ➡ Battle #2 ➡ for The Savior" and it was played during the credits video shown at the end of the performance in which Hanyu was shown skating with three orbs of light, inspired by Maxim and Selan in Lufia II's ending.
The show will be performed again in Saga (January 12 and 14) and Yokohama (February 17 and 19). It will also be shown live on screen in cinemas through Japan. For people outside of Japan (and mainland China and Russia) the performance of November 4 was available as a livestream on Beyond LIVE.

And here's a little fun fact; Lufia series music composer Yasunori Shiono was in the audience.
A few weeks prior to the ice show, there was a Lufia II concert performed by MUSIC Engine in Fuchu, which Yasunori Shiono also attended. To his surprise, there was a big flower stand in the lobby which was sent by none other than Yuzuru Hanyu. This seems to have inspired Yasunori Shiono to buy a ticket for RE_PRAY and it looks like he was very moved by the show and it's inclusion of Lufia music!

About Yuzuru Hanyu and Lufia
In February 2022 Yuzuru Hanyu mentioned Lufia 2 on live tv during an interview.
Ever since then, there has been an increased interest for the Lufia series in Japan, but especially Lufia 2.
Yuzuru Hanyu on TV:
“I play some pretty violent games too, but right now I’m playing Animal Crossing. Personally, the games I like the most are Super Famicom games. There’s a game called Heisei Shin Onigashima, a pretty obscure game that I think a lot of people might not have heard of, but that game was one of the first games I really enjoyed. And I also played Estpolis Denki II. That was the other one that really got me into games.”
